Departments of the Company

There are six main departments which are:

1. Department of geology:

The department leads by PhD geologist having more than 25 years experience, executes the following geological services:

1.      Geological survey and mapping on different scales for oil explorations.

2.      Compilation of surface and subsurface of geological information.

3.      Giving consultancy in petroleum geology, reservoir characteristic, petroleum system, Biostratigraphy, sedimentology and seismic stratigraphy.

4.      Well site geologist services and Mud logger services.

5.      Hydrogeological studies.

6.      Tectonic models and structural analysis.

2. Department Of Geophysics:

The department leads by PhD holders in Geophysics having more than 25 years experience. This department executes all Geophysical services such as:

1.      Seismic reflection (two and three dimension) and refraction survey, processing and interpretation.

2.      Gravity, magnetic, survey and interpretation

3.      Electrical surveys (VES resistivity and imaging "Tomography") survey and interpretation.

3. Department of Petroleum chemistry and refining:

This department is leaded by PhD degree holder in petroleum chemistry with more than 30 years experience and it is responsible for the following:

1-      Supervision of the oil refineries belong to the WZA co. including Bazian and Piramagron refinery.

2-      Quality control tests for all petroleum products according to ASTM standard methods.

3-      Consulting all petroleum chemistry jobs.

4-      Consulting and supervision of chemical process in the future developments in Bazian refinery including hydrotreater and reformer process reactions.

5-       Participation in ESIA studies which concerns to chemistry studies. 

4. Department of Environment and Social affairs

This department leads by PhD director which is responsible for environmental and social studies such as:

1.      Water pollution and limnology

2.      Wasted water treatment.

3.     Air and soil pollution studies.

4.     Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA).

5.      Department of Financial and Accounting affairs

This department leads by an experience director holding MSc degree in accounting. The department is responsible for all financial and accounting affairs such as; Opening the natural account for the whole banks including the current accounts in the banks, establishments and financials sides, setting up the whole dealing concerning the checks, commercial papers that can be in deliberate bonds, consign withdrawing, and different bill of lading and borrowing the necessary amount of moneys from general banks of Regional Government and concerning sides pursuant to effective laws and sending, accepting the whole checks on different sorts, giving guarantee for these debts.

6.      Department of Administration and Law affairs

This department leads by an experience director holding BSc degree accounting and BA degree in Law. The department is also responsible for all administration and Law affairs.
